Biography
Dr. Carman is a staff surgeon at Mercy Health Springfield with expertise in robotic and bariatric surgery. Dr. Terry Carman is a native of Ohio and is a graduate of Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida. He obtained his medical degree at Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. His residency was completed at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center in Akron, Ohio. He pursued and finished additional fellowship training at Harper University Hospital in Detroit, Michigan in the areas of minimally invasive and bariatric surgery.
He is a member of various national medical and surgical societies, has presented at several national meetings, and published several academic journal articles.
Dr. Carman resides in central Ohio and in his free time enjoys spending time with family, exercising, and traveling to new parts of the globe
